Still using the same formula (multiple povs/couples) plus a mystery as the back story, it should be a good start.
But I just can't buy the deep love just within a few days timespan. The story revolved around 10 days I think (not sure exactly since I just don't care). 8 days just playing along, then all of the sudden, on the 9th day they all felt the love. Not even hesitant (at all) to tell the world what they felt (and of course the feelings were reciprocate). This novel feels more a like an intertwined novellas instead of multiple povs. And there were so many things left unexplained. I can't say it was wrapped up nicely since it was abrupt HEA.
The 3rd book in the series that I have read back-to-back and I've reached my limits. Need to take a rest from Ransom Canyon for a while.

Unlike the first and second books where I knew which was the main story (and characters) and which were secondaries, this one makes me confused. Every substories were stronger than the main couple (should be Jubile and Charley, right?) and in a way, way more interesting. Throw in some murder-mystery cases, and our couple were overshadowed by almost everyone else.
I think Jubilee and Charley's story were not strong enough. The main conflicts also were about someone else. And I think Thatcher was the true star of this book.
And why were our past couples and most of other characters that made up Ransom Canyon's community didn't have any part in this book? This could be a stand alone except that it took place in Ransom Canyon. So, until now, I have to say that Harmony series is better in terms of community drama....more

But I can't put this down, even resorted to sacrifice my precious sleeping time. Ms. Thomas really is getting better with every book she wrote. Can't wait to read what happened next especially about our Lauren, Lucas and Tim....more

Maybe because I have read the series back-to-back so the magic was a little bit lost with this one. The story focus entirely to Tinch, Addison and Jamie. Even if the others were still around, it felt a bit crowded. I do want to know more about the relationships of Reagan-Noah and Tyler-Kate but this time there is the feeling of forcefulness. And the others were like thrown together casually, just to remind us they were still there, but the feeling of harmony in Harmony was not there, not like in previous books.
Might have to wait a bit before I started on the next one... (if I can helped it ;))...more

It's good to be back in Harmony. And this time I'm glad that Ms. Thomas reverted back to the original Harmony style which has multiple stories intertwined to make it as though we are also part of the residence.
I really, really loved the love between Emily and Tannon. The quiet librarian and a lonely businessman. Theirs is not a volatile or full of passionate declarations, but nonetheless sweet and at the same time very touching. I loved it when the insecure Emily found comforts and safety with the very able Tannon. They were closed during the school days, but separated after 'the attack'. But when a chance bring them back in each other world, they accepted it gracefully (even though there were some reluctance on Emily's part at first).

All of a sudden, Rick Matheson have been a target for no known reason. Several attempts have been made to kill him. And Trace Adam, a US Marshal who was on leave was honoring a favor from a friend (Denver) and agreed to be Rick's bodyguard. Even though the attempts were serious enough, Rick's personality and his views on these were more light. He would not believe that there was somebody out there who hated him enough to kill him. I loved Rick but not Trace...hehe. She's too serious and very closed. And even the answer for this mystery was a bit hilarious...haha(view spoiler)[Martha Q finally become a heroin in 'the drama'*wink* (hide spoiler)]
But...I missed the old characters. I still want to know about Tyler-Kate (how many children do they have now?). I want to know about Denver and Claire and I especially want to know what happened to Reagan and Noah which was the drive (for me) for this series. Only Alex and Hank were back (well...she is the town's Sheriff after all and he is Rick's cousin).
