“Don’t finish that sentence. I draw the line at two passive-aggressive breakup attempts before breakfast.”
The cases and mystery had me on my toes. I'm excited to see where the next books will take me!

I will never get tired of reading this series. Honestly. I think Hollin was probably one of my favorites MC's and I loved Piper. She was sas 4 stars.

Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and it was done fantastically well here. I loved seeing the whole 'breaking down the walls' to get to know each other. And the two together are just hot.
I would definitely recommend this if you're a fan of the series and the author. Although this can be read as a standalone, I would say to read the rest of the books too, because there's a lot of faces in this book and it will get overwhelming!...more

Ugh this was good. I've been waiting for Somers and Hazard's relationship to happen and it was amazing. It was everything I wanted!
The case was different this time around, dealing with faith, church, etc. Because of that, we got to learn a lot more of Hazard and his past. Plus the last 15%-20% was crazy! I couldn't stop biting my nails. ...more

Somers studied the room around them one last time before closing his own eyes. He’d been seeing an apartment, yes. And now he saw a home.
FINALLY IT HAPPENED.
It only took them almost a full 4 books.
Although I enjoyed this book, it oddly reminded me of the third book in terms of the whole relationship stuff. Between Nico and Hazard plus Somers and his wife, Cora. The case was fun though. I'm already reading and enjoying the next book as I write this and it's off to a really great start! Love me some Hazard and Somers....more

If this book was any indication, this series is only going to get better and better. I enjoyed Transposition one so much more the the first book. I'm only going to go a small review since everything has already been said before. I loved Somers' more in this book and I'm assuming I'll only like him more as I read the rest of the books.
The chemistry between Hazard and Somers is intense and was there throughout the book. The case was crazy and it kept me hooked onto the book till the very end. I'm moving on to the next book as I write this review.
John-Henry Somerset was beautiful, the kind of beautiful that hit like a shotgun to the back of the head and didn’t leave any brains or blood behind, the kind of beautiful that left Hazard thoughtless and speechless and, damn it, motionless.
The past was like poison, and it built up in you like poison, like lead in your tap water, until it killed you.
Look at me go, reading 4.25 stars.
The past was like poison, and it built up in you like poison, like lead in your tap water, until it killed you.
Look at me go, reading a book that has basically zero romance. But you know what? I really enjoyed it and it worked really well. This book was setting up what's to come. Pretty Pretty Boys was basically me getting to know Hazard, Somerset, and the secondary characters. This book was pobably one of the best books I've read where the characters and their stories were so well constructed.
I wasn't bored for the most part and the case kept me on my toes. But do I think the book could've been a bit shorter? Sure and the editing could've used some work. I'm not one to notice mostly, but I did here. It didn't take away from the enjoyment though.
If you do read this book - you'll enjoy it but go with an open mind and know that there isn't any romance in this but will come in the future books....more

I'm really happy after reading Savage Rivals. I have zero complaints about this book. It really did surprise me at how much I actually ended up loving the story and the two MC's. Everytime I had to put it down, I couldn't wait to pick it back up.
I'm not going to lie, it took me a second to realize that football was not the American football haha. I loved the chemistry between Levi and Asher. Getting to see them from being enemies to becoming lovers was a lot of fun reading. The story, pranks, the sports, secondary characters were all really well written. Hopefully there's more books to come in this series because I would definitely read!...more

Frat Wars was my first read by Saxon James and it was a really good start! Its not really common here to have frat houses in college so it was actually very interesting to see how life is in one.
This was an incredibly cute read with little angst and no over the top drama (which I'm really appreciate). One thing I do wish I saw more of was just the day to day. Like college, football, etc. I didn't just want it to only be the frat house....more

“We pick and choose memories to support the narrative we’re living in.”
This was just adorable and at this point it's not a secret that I love Anyta Sunday and her books. I haven't read Jane Austen's books before so I can't compare this to the novel.
Fin and Ethan were both likeable characters and I enjoyed them together. I liked the story and most of the characters. I do wish that the ending didn't feel so rushed though. I feel like the whole story was building up to it and then bam, the end. Aside from that, it was a very cute read. I loved the romance....more

The blurb for this book? 10/10. The book itself? Was just meh for me and I couldn't be more disappointed! I don't know if it was me or this book but I really wanted to love this. And at some parts, I did. I think Easton and Cannon could've worked, but there needed to be more effort (I don't know if this is the right word?) put between the two as a couple. If that makes sense. And it was too repetitive.
The parts that made it worth it was the angst and the emotion was all there and I felt it. At least for me, this was what saved the book from a dnf to 3.5 stars....more
I think this might be one of my favorite KA Linde books that she's written in a while. It has the classic angst that Linde is known for. This 4 stars
I think this might be one of my favorite KA Linde books that she's written in a while. It has the classic angst that Linde is known for. This story is about Marley and Derek and it spans from high school to their adult life - so well over a decade. We get to see all their ups and downs, get to see them grow as a person and as a couple and you can't help but fall in love with them and the story.
I really liked the way everything was written and how well the story flowed. The side characters really brought the story together. I can't wait to read more books by Kyla!...more
Honestly, I'm not 100% sure on how to rate this so I will stick to the above rating until I've thought about it. Dearest Milton Jame 3.5-4ish stars.
Honestly, I'm not 100% sure on how to rate this so I will stick to the above rating until I've thought about it. Dearest Milton James is quite honestly a really cute romance novel! I loved Malachi, he is a force to be reckoned with. He was hilarious and made a perfect pair with Julian, they balanced each other out since Julian was more quiet and reserved.
The secondary characters were all really amazing and I loved how well they blended into the book. The storyline was also really different from what I've read I was rooting right along the characters to find the owners of the letters. If you're a fan of the author, need a low angst book, you'll love this!...more

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I can't believe I never knew about it until now. I will do a full review if I remember after my vacation bit here are a few points I loved:
- The humor - The side characters were awesome - I loved Ross and Glen - This was a light read. No angst

Okay, so this actually turned out a lot better than I thought it would. I had no idea where this story would take me since it actually started a little slow but it definitely picked up afterwords. Like you wouldn't believe. Any thoughts you have about this book? Throw them out the window because this is not your average book!
Obviously this is a vague review, but only because anything I say will be a spoiler. Definitely worth a read if you want something different than your usual book.
“God knows I’ve tried to keep my distance from you. But I’m not okay if I don’t know you’re okay. It’s as simple as that.”
I loved the first book by the author and I was really excited about this as well and it didn't disappoint! The bant 4.5 stars.
This. Was. So. Cute.
I loved the first book by the author and I was really excited about this as well and it didn't disappoint! The banter and chemistry between Jamie and Connor were on point. Although I figured out the storyline pretty early, it actually didn't ruin anything for me.
This day is not going according to plan. It doesn’t matter. Because I’m kissing Jamie. And when I’m kissing Jamie, the world gets just a tiny bit quieter. And I fit just a tiny bit better.
There wasn't any unnecessary drama and I'm so happy about that. Briar is definitely becoming a one-click author me, and honestly, I couldn't be more happier about that...more

I don't remember the last book I read that had a good fake dating romance. And this was done well. Although it was great, and I loved going back into the Wright world, this wasn't my favorite. I'm not sure if it was me (probably was) or something in the book but I couldn't connect 100%.
But Jen and Julian were a great couple and I loved how well they fit together. Getting back into this world was also a really great perk....more
