The three books really from a whole. They make one think critically about the world we live in. This is the third book in a set, and if you haven't read the other two, I would suggest that you do that first before picking up this one. The other two are written to compliment one another. ...more

Sweet love between a zombie and a human? I'd give this book 3.5 stars if I could. It was very enjoyable. Unlike a lot of paranormal romance. Did this story really need to be told? Not as good as ADORATION
What isn't as successful is the story, partly because of the characters. FOX INHERITAN Did this story really need to be told? Not as good as ADORATION
What isn't as successful is the story, partly because of the characters. FOX INHERITANCE is narrated by Locke, which doesn't work as well as Jenna's narration did in the first novel. I couldn't quite hear his voice as male - teenage guys just don't seem as introspective as Locke is. Most of the story revolves around Locke and Kara, neither of whom ever seem like real people. In the first novel, we weren't sure what was going on with Jenna until midway through the book, so we had a chance to get to know her as a real flesh-and-blood teenage girl before we knew she was a biologically engineered creation. Locke and Kara are creations from the start, being used as "floor models" for a company trying to sell eternal life bodies to rich customers. The plot is really about their separate journeys to find Jenna, as both are pursued by the scientist desperate to recover his property. I never felt as connected to either Locke or Kara as I was to Jenna ...more

I feel embarrassed to have been sucked into this hype machine and wish I had read something else. Oh clichepocalypse!!!! Maybe a robot wrote this book
I feel embarrassed to have been sucked into this hype machine and wish I had read something else. Oh well. Consider yourselves warned. There were a couple of chapters in this book that will probably make for good intense movie scenes, but, otherwise this reads like something a 12 year-old whose seen all the Terminator movies would write. I felt like the author was describing the movie he wanted this turn into, rather than writing a fully fleshed out novel. The writing, dialogue, and characters were all flat.

Worth the read, even if you don't agree with it!
i have to say that this book has proven about 90% percent of what i all ready believe in. accept for one point that ayn rand pointed out in the book, comparing a simple hindu farmer to a mordren industral amercan farmer. i think what she was phrasing is what farmer had the better life. who are we to say that the poor simple hindu did not no better. a better life is what you believe is enought to make you happy. is atleast my theory.
its Not light reading, but thought provoking. The characters are black and white, but I think the author had no choice but to create black and white characters in order to get the theme across to the reader. My only complaint with the book was with the speech that Galt gives about three fourths of the way through the novel, essentially recapping everything that we've just been shown. It seemed unnecessary and, well, a recap....more
