I feel everyone student should read this... 3 stars only, as I was turned off by it being a) a bit life coachy and b) by it's presentation. Also, I would have liked something a bit more in depth... But that's not a fault of the book, it's not sold as an academic text, but more of what I knew already and what I may have expected...
It certainly reminded me to 'think differently', to be mindful, of what my - and other people's - mind is doing... Do read it!...more

Having said the latter, it is developer centric, so may confuse the non initiated. I am a Product Owner / Business Analyst and have been in the industry for over a decade, but still found it an interesting, at worst confirming, at best inspiring and thought provoking read.

In fact, while it is IT focused, this is a great read for anyone who is somehow, even if very distantly, related to IT.
It's an amazing example of how to educate people on the most important concepts regarding lean and effective working, stakeholder alignment and simply delivering products.
I read this on the beach in Greece and was extremely entertained :)
(Note on the side: if you read this as a novel and expect high-literature, well written characters and prefect plot you are missing the point. Yes its preachy and a bit unrealistic, but it's not about the story, it's about the concepts being conveyed, so read it as that: an educational novel, not a thriller)...more
