“Most things in life that cause the most damage sneak up on you like that, not giving much warning before it completely
5 SWEET MERCIFUL STARS
“Most things in life that cause the most damage sneak up on you like that, not giving much warning before it completely uproots your life destroying anything and everything you worked so hard for. Before you know it, love has impaled your soul, feeding it piece by piece to the bad boys we fall so stupidly for.”
M.N. Forgy has once again managed to blow my mind with this one. Zeek and Jillian’s story was epic and timeless. Their love wasn’t ordinary and that’s what made it so perfect.
Mercy showed no mercy what so ever to these characters. There wasn’t a moment they didn’t have to fight against those who wanted to bring them down.
Jillian’s road of self acceptance and learning the truth about her father wasn’t easy for her. Their was hate and love, but love is hard to fight and she soon realizes she can’t hate Zeek. Instead she proves to be badass outlaw in disguise and good cop as well. She’s a resilient and courageous woman who would do anything to protect her man.
Zeek.
He’s been a part of a dark and dangerous world all his life. That’s all he’s ever known and Jillian brought out the light and sun in him. I loved seeing that sensitive side to him. Watching him go through all these different emotions for the very first time with the woman who has become his whole world shows that even villains can show mercy and be redeemed.
He isn’t perfect, but who really wants that?
It’s boring in my opinion. Shrugs.
What to expect while reading?
Well, for one your mind will explode… just go boom. There’s lots of moments full of anticipation and nerve wrecking scenes. Of course there are the hot and sexy moments as well, but my favorite of all were the sweet moments between Zeek and Jillian where he would just hold her close to his chest while simply laying in bed.
This book will take you on a ride, delivering an epic conclusion to Zeek and Jillian’s story!

Just when I thought this series couldn't make me anymore emotional after reading Welcome to the Dark Side, Good Gone Bad left me feeling all the feels; love, anger, heartbreak, and utter happiness. Each book is packed with surprise after surprise, leaving you on the edge sweating bullets.
I loved Lionel Danner aka Lion!! He is EVERYTHING and right there on top with Zeus on my list of favorites. Danner has changed a lot since the start of this series and for good reason. He's lived more and seen a whole other life than just simply being a good cop. He's ferocious in his love for his Rosie; and in his need to protect her.
H.R. is a thorny rose. Her thorns represent her wild side, the rebel in her, and the price of being apart of the Fallen. Then there's her petals, representing her need and desire to be loved, to be shown that's she's enough. Harleigh Rose is multi-layered and filled with so much heart and strength, she'll stop at nothing to protect her loved ones.
Together, these two were explosive! The chemistry was through the roof!! With Danner, H.R. wasn't afraid to give up control because she knew she could trust him wholeheartedly. It was beautiful to witness her soft side with a man who accepted her completely. I just love these two so much!!
Good Gone Bad will take you on a ride! It is perfection. Suspenseful, steamy, and filled with action–I couldn't get enough....more

+5 STARS!
It is 1 in the morning and I'm lying here thinking about what to write. Welcome to the Dark Side just took all my words and rode out into the night.
This book consumed me. I didn't want to put it down and if I did, I'd jump right back in.
You'll never meet a heroine more fierce, resilient, or sweet as Loulou. She was an absolute warrior and it only took a few pages to fall in love with her! Then we have Zeus. Daddy Zeus. As my bestie said, "f*cking perfection in manform" and I couldn't agree more. #GarroGirl
The beginning of Zeus and Loulou's story was sweet and innocent. He was her savior and best friend and over the years, she never forgets her "guardian monster". Their love grew and developed with time. Even their 19 year age-gap and Zeus' inner conflict during the time when Lou was untouchable, could not abate their chemistry as the pull was simply undeniable. It was kismet.
Gosh, this book left me such an emotional wreck. I was a breathless, sobbing mess. But, poetic justice was served in the end. Each book seems to pack a serious punch at every turn and I'm not surprised at how quickly this series is becoming one of my favorites! Now, bring on my girl HR's book with her very own western hero, Lionel Danner *giddy*....more

Stranger Ranger by Daisy Prescott is book 2 in the Park Ranger series, Green Valley World, Penny Reid Book Universe and follows Odin Hill of the Hill family whom is mentioned in book 2 of the Winston Brothers series, Grin and Beard It.
Viking-sized, brooding, recluse hero, Odin Hill lives up in the hills of the Rockies in Green Valley, Tennessee, where his family has lived for many generations. Odin has a pig named Patsy and a hound named Roman. He's passionate about food and even studied in France. In his younger years, he was a professional chef but in those days he let himself loose and that only brought trouble. Presently, he keeps to himself. He's a bit of a loner and is intrigued by Daphne. The townspeople all seem to have something to say about the Hills.
Daphne is new to Green Valley. Presently, she's just been promoted and is now a full-time park ranger. Daphne has cut all family ties and has moved around a lot to work for various National Park Services (NPS). She's a private person who doesn't talk about her past much at all. But she's also snarky and sassy, and I love that she has no filter and the way she describes Odin as this Norse demigod is a hoot #VegetableThor. When it comes to him, she loses her cool and can't stop staring at him. Daphne doesn't have much experience with men, hence the constant staring at Odin. She used to live in a strict church community, cut off from the outside world. Her life was pretty much a sheltered one and she didn't really start living until she went off to college.
I loved Odin and his banter with Daphne. These two could not be more different but at the same time alike in so many ways. Throughout the story we get a better look at Odin and his family background. We learn about his upbringing and get to meet his beloved nannie Ida. We discover the mystery of why he's always in the unmarked trails with his pig, Patsy. We also unravel Daphne's character and learn more about the past she escaped from.
Stranger Ranger was such a fun, charming, and sweet read that I could not put down. You heard it from me: un-put-downable!! The first few pages alone had me laughing out loud! Daisy Prescott is a writing genius, her words will capture you and not let you go. This book was a top 2020 read for sure!
Disclaimer: Daisy did such a beautiful job with some sensitive topics mentioned in the story.

It's official!! I'm obsessed with Karla Sorensen and her writing!! A full-length standalone contemporary romance apart of the Penny Reid's Green Valley Book Universe, Batter of Wits is the second book I've read by Karla and it's my absolute favorite!
The Buchanan Curse is at it again and this time, Grace is the next victim. Grace also happens to be Levi Buchanan's cousin. Levi is the hero from Karla's first novel written in the Donner Bakery Series/Green Valley Book Universe, Baking Me Crazy. After being stranded in the middle of nowhere on the back roads of Tennessee, one comment from Tucker Haywood makes Grace Buchanan turn feral mad. Now, Grace is usually nice to strangers but for some reason she cannot stop herself from feeling a strong sense of disdain towards Tucker, nor can she resist blurting out rude comment after comment.
Poor Tucker. Being a southern gentlemen, Tucker stops to aide the woman stranded on the side of the road... not thinking of how she'll turn his world upside down. He doesn't even realize what hit him. You guys, Tucker is so dreamy and sweet with a sexy accent–literally a perfect hero.
I could NOT get enough of this book! It's such a fun read with some hilarious hate-to-love banter. I especially loved this couple pairing and the fact that Tucker calls Grace, Angry Girl ...more

“The boy who always felt like mine is now the man I can't have.”
Hello book hangover, haven't seen you in awhile. My mind is still trying to process this wonderful book. It was so much more than a romance. It was empowering with clear cut messages. Kennedy Ryan is revolutionary! She writes about topics that are important and need to be addressed in today's society. Topics about race, education, women's health, women's rights, and politics. Kennedy is without question changing the writing game.
Queen Move is one of those books that will put you through the ringer. There is so much that happens for Ezra and Kimba to finally be together and when they do reconnect again... Its EPIC!!! Their love endured and truly transcended time.
"We were born on the same day. I’m not overly religious, and I’m not sure what I believe about other lives, other worlds, and other dimensions. I do know if soul mates are real, Kimba is mine. I believe that if people are “created,” we were made together."
Together their passion was undeniable. As individuals they've both paved their own paths in the world. Kimba is a fierce queen who knows what she wants and will stop at nothing until she gets it. Ezra is an ambitious, confident, and strong man whose overcome obstacles in his youth. I love his devotion to shaping young minds and making a change in their lives.
Queen Move will have you thinking days after finishing. It was different from the All the King's Men duet but equally empowering and important, both tackling real life issues. I loved the blended families and mixing of cultures. This book will stick with you!
I'm hoping Mona gets her book!! Thank you so much, Kennedy.
“I don’t just want you when you’re strong. I want you when you’re vulnerable, when you’re lost, when you’re not sure. I see the armor you have to put on to make it in your world. I just want you to know here, with me, you can take the armor off.”

Well Suited is the last book in the Red Lipstick Coalition series and it feels like the ending to my favorite show (which is also coming) What is life? 😭 For I digress! The Red Lipstick Coalition series 💄 features four brilliant yet very different women brought together by friendship and a tube of red lipstick that makes them bold. The conclusion of the series comes with Katherine and Theodore's book.
Beginning with a dance, Katherine is immediately attracted to Theodore and his pheromones as she cannot resist smelling him like a cupcake sniffer 🤣.
Katherine is endearing and pragmatic. She's just... Different. Intelligent and quirky. Theo makes her reckless. Thoughtless. Daring! She feels like she has no control when she's with him while he sees Katherine's true potential all along.
Theo is the protector. He's the one who takes care of everyone. He doesn't do relationships, however, it only took one night for him to fall for Katherine. He loves calling her Kate because he knows it will annoy her, but also because her fight lessens the more he does call her that.
Together these two were magical. Their chemistry was off the charts. Theo loves to hear her ramble off random facts and trivia, and Kate knows she doesn't need to feel embarrassed or watch what she says around him. Two opposites who started their relationship backwards. Their one night of passion leads to Katherine being pregnant and she's absolutely terrified, while Theo embraces it. With time Kate loosens up and let's go of most of her rules. From there, things definitely get interesting.
Staci Hart gives readers a glance of all the beloved characters. She's an author I've been reading for a few years now and is an amazing human being who is beyond talented. Well Suited is a wonderful end to an unforgettable series! Sweet, sexy, witty and with the perfect touch of angst Staci is known to give us. I highly recommend this series!

I'M SPEECHLESS. I HAVE NO WORDS! But I will say this, Work in Progress is my favorite book by Staci Hart to date!!
Thomas Bane. Remember that name people! THOMAS BANE!! He's everything. Perfection. Bad boy extraordinaire. A scoundrel. Devil-maycare fantasy writer. He's got swag and sex appeal. I'd read and buy his books always! Behind this image he portrays to the world is a humble man. A good man with a heart of gold. A man who will do anything to care for and protect his family.
Then we have Amelia Hall. Sweet. Timid. Quirky and sassy af. She's my spirit animal. My best friend! I want to be her when I grow up. She is much like the ugly duckling who transforms into a beautiful swan.
Tommy and Amelia are complete opposites. A couple you don't see a lot in romance stories and that's what I loved the most. They're yin and yang, coming together perfectly. All their moments were tender and sweet. The intimacy was sexy and special. Even when they faked their relationship there was no hiding those feelings that slowly crept into their hearts.
I loved this book to pieces!! The perfect marriage of convenience romantic comedy. And that ending!? I'm shook. It's Katherine's turn people and she's going to take us all by storm. Mark my words #icantwait 💃🏼

Gah. Where do I even begin? Penelope Douglas is one of those authors that can write whatever her mind conjures up very well. She's so diverse and truly special. I've been a fan of hers since reading Bully and I can say her writing just gets better and better, like fine wine.
Now to Birthday Girl. Guys, Birthday Girl was everything. Like I love me a good forbidden romance, but this one was just ahhhh so good. Even though it dealt with the taboo element of such a big age gap, it was written perfectly! It felt real and I felt the emotion. The torment. The struggle. The chemistry. It was palpable.
Penelope writes such memorable characters that stick with you long after reading. Jordan Hadley might have been just 19 but she was an old soul. She was mature beyond her years, knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to go for it. Naive at times, but who isn't at 19.
Pike Lawson #DaddyPike was forced to grow up quick. At just 19 he becomes a father and must give up his dreams to give his son a good life. There's many struggles and challenges, but you see how much he loves his son, Cole. Even when he falls for Jordan, it isn't an easy journey. Ugh, I just have so many feels.
This book was a torrid slow burn romance written in such classy way, especially since it dealt with the age difference and forbidden relationship element. Penelope truly out did herself with this one. This book is so much more than what's revealed in the description. I can't say it enough! Everyone should read it and fall in love 💜
So, remember I said Evan's book was my favorite? Well, I can add that Evan and John are simply my favorite... Period. Chasing Him, the third book in the Bishop Brothers series by Kennedy Fox was everything I wanted and more!! Cute babies galore, especially sweet Maize #myheart. Watching #DaddyJohn be a father warmed my heart. He instantly fell for his baby girl #sniff and though he struggled at times, he never gave up.
Ugh, then when Mila comes into the picture... Hot Damn! Angst and forbidden and feels!! I couldn't get enough! John is very attracted to her to the point there are times he goes all alpha and threatens to punch Jackson in the throat lol 😂. But being the man John is, he doesn't want to pursue it because she's Maize's nanny, but mostly because he's afraid of the outcome if things don't pan out. Then we have the feisty and wonderful Mila. She's been friend-zoned for so long, she doesn't want to go through that again. Plus, she's only in Texas for a little while.
When these two finally give in and realize they can no longer fight the attraction, sparks fly!! #Hot 🔥. Chasing Him was kind of a slow burn romance, but it didn't feel that way because it had so many supporting characters to carry the story along with the main characters. Of course, let's not forget those moments of deep emotion, southern drama, and the perfect epilogue. This book was so good and proves that KF is just good like that! Now bring on Jackson's book. I'm interested in seeing how that will turn out #hotmessexpress

SEAN 'STITCH' MOLINA IS EVERYTHING PLUS A MILLION.
REVIEW:
5+ WORTHY STARS!
“The way you look at me… I ain’t nothin’.”
Phenomenal. Emotional. SEAN 'STITCH' MOLINA IS EVERYTHING PLUS A MILLION.
REVIEW:
5+ WORTHY STARS!
“The way you look at me… I ain’t nothin’.”
Phenomenal. Emotional. Heartbreaking. Gut wrenching. Beautiful. Breathless. Happiness. Deserving. Amazing. Wonderous. Love. Passion. Everything. These are some of the words I would use to describe Bad for You. When I think J. Daniels can't write a better book, she gives us Stitch and I'm a goner. I loved Brian and Jamie, but Sean... Sean is everything #HUGSEAN.
Sean 'Stitch' Molina is that broken, tortured, intense and broody hero you can't help but love deeply, profoundly to the very depths of your soul. The previous book hinted to the darkness and pain but learning first hand and witnessing Stitch's demons, my heart broke. All I wanted was to hug him so tight and never let him go.
Shayla was the polar opposite of Stitch. She's smiles, happiness, light, sassiness. Everything Sean ever wanted. She's fierce and stands her ground. When it comes to Sean and protecting him, she's a mini pitbull willing to bulldoze you down. Showing no mercy. She was perfect for Sean. With her caring soul and her heart of gold.
"I don’t remember the time between meeting you and loving you. I just know I love you and I can’t stop. That’s it.”
Glah. Just take me back to the very first page. I didn't want it to end. I'm left floating in a fog. I don't know what to do with myself. I'm curled up in the fetal position with happy tears streaming down my face. This book was truly perfect. Sean is by far my favorite Dirty Deeds man. Plus we're married #MrsMolina.

Filled with beloved characters, love, forgiveness, suspense, second chances and the perfect conclusion to must read series... You won't ever be the same afterwards!!
There are no words to describe how I'm currently feeling. My heart is filled to the brim and my soul is content. Today I say, 'see you soon my friend', to an amazing series by an equally talented and amazing author.
The Bitterroot Inn is everything I imagined it would be and more! Devney Perry ended this series perfectly with Maisy Holt and Dr. Calvin Klein.
Maisy is the epitome of the perfect woman. She's a survivor, she's strong, independent, a super mom, loving, kind, and most of all forgiving. She's been through hell and back, and to watch her get her chance at love was truly something special.
Dr. Calvin Klein, also known as Hunter Faraday is the new doctor in Prescott and he's a total dreamboat. He's a man with secrets, yet he has so much goodness inside of him. The first moment he lays eyes on Maisy, he knows he's a goner, but it isn't until an unexpected accident, that he falls in love with her. Even his relationship with Maisy's son, Coby is unforgettable. Their bond was instantaneous and downright precious.
Maisy and Hunter together are fire. There's so much love, angst, and passion you can't help but hold on to every moment between them. Add in Coby and they're the perfect trio.
This book was one of a kind. This series was timeless. You will not regret it!
So, take an adventure to Prescott, Mountain. On your first visit, stop by The Coppersmith Farmhouse, get married at The Clover Chapel, go horseback riding at The Lucky Heart ranch, campout out at The Outpost, and enjoy your stay at The Bitterroot Inn!

FAVORITE BOOK IN THE WHOLE SERIES!!! BEAU IS BAE ALWAYS AND FOREVER!!!
REVIEW BELOW:
Once again I'm swept away with Devney Perry and her writing! Each book has something special to offer, but it was The Outpost that owned my heart and filled me to the brim!!
Beau Holt is everything I want in a man. He's strong, sweet, protective, sexy, caring, and beautiful inside and out. He's always known what path his life would be on until he meets Sabrina and she changes everything for him.
Sabrina MacKenzie is a stubborn and headstrong woman. She's independent and a fighter. She's forced to uproot her life in order to save herself. Her character went through a lot emotionally and physically, but in the end she found herself and learned to love her new self as well.
What makes this book so special was Beau and Sabrina's relationship. These two couldn't be more different and opposite from each other. He's a mountain man and she's a city girl, but they were just what the other needed to be complete. Watching their slow romance blossom was a beautiful sight to behold.
This book was the perfect slow burn romance with those sweet moments, and let's not forget about the passion and the attraction. You could feel it radiate off the pages! And I know I say it often when I talk about this series, but that epilogue!! It was everything I wanted for an ending. I really couldn't love this series more if I tried. It owns me!! So thank you Brie Burgess for pushing me to read this series and Devney Perry for giving me this series. I'm forever indebted to you both!
