Both are too scared to ruin their lifelong friendship though, and have never crossed the line into more, but one night changes everything…
I’ll admit I was impatient and beyond frustrated with Scott and Jenna because they were clearly so perfect and in love with each others AND WERE SO FREAKING BLIND!!!
& then everything changed and Scott’s reason for why he never crossed the line came out and I absolutely lost it ...more

The New Guy by Nicole Dykes Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finley is new to Kensley thanks to his dad having to move there for work. It's nothing like being back home in California, and he's the odd man out with his lavender hair and colorful tattoos. None of that matters to Fallon though, who becomes instantly enamored with Finley the moment he lays eyes on him.
The two could not be more different, and Finley definitely tried his hardest to resist Fallon's charm, but they just clicked. I honestly wish this would have been longer because I thought these two were just too cute and I wanted more!

Jamie, a PT for the Bobcats, is dead set on finishing his business certification and starting his own practice so he can finally escape from the world of hockey and all the painful memories it brings. At least that was the plan until hotshot Archie Bowman barrels into his life like a horny, foul mouthed tornado.
Despite the chemistry and intense attraction between them, Jamie does his best to keep things strictly professional with Archie as he rehabs his shoulder. Easier said than done, as the more he gets to know the hilarious and charming Brit, the harder it becomes to keep their relationship platonic.
As much as the banter and tension between Archie and his Kitty had me wanting them to dive into their attraction from the get go, I really loved the easy friendship and slower progression of their story. The build up was so worth it!...more

Hit Me With Your Best Shot was a fun little sports anthology that included a few of my favorites, and some new to me authors that I’m definitely going to read more of!
I’m such a sucker for sports romances and wished a couple of these stories were full length, and overall enjoyed the majority of the stories included in this anthology!

Love Made Me Do It by Saffron A. Kent Tropes: single dad, pro soccer player x nanny, close proximity, boy obsessed, insta-love, one bed Rating: ⭐️⭐️
The moment this story lost me was when the MMC goes, “What do you think a girl asks for when she’s wearing a dress like that?” WE DO NOT SLUT SHAME IN THIS HOUSEHOLD, RIOT RIVERA!!!
Then he coerces her into leaving the date she is on (that she admittedly didn’t like, doesn’t matter!) by threatening her job as his nanny ...more

Antoni is drowning. Between balancing working as an English teach, being guardian to four grieving kiddos, and battling for custody against their a-hole grandparents, he's barely staying afloat.
When Matty stumbles upon Antoni sobbing in his driveway, something about the downtrodden man calls to him, and he obviously tries to swoop in and save the day--especially after hearing everything Antoni has been going through.
Antoni isn't really sure what to make of Matty or his offer to move in with him, but he's willing to do anything to take care of and keep his children permanently. Doesn't hurt that Matty seems just as invested in their well being.
Honestly, I feel like I've been waiting for Matty's book for forever, and despite the wait, I was not at all disappointed. He is hands down my favorite Fisher Cat, and an absolute sweetheart. Despite not even knowing Antoni, he was willing to go above and beyond for the man and his kids, and he threw himself wholeheartedly into taking care of all of them in spite of what his teammates thought. Who isn't a sucker for a man who loves kids!? ...more

So sad this is the final book in the series, but I rode the struggle bus on this one.
As much as I love Ben/Em and the Sadenverse as a whole, I just didn’t vibe with the romance between Jonah and Emmett. Things went 0 to 100 between these two, and I just didn’t feel the chemistry between them enough to get really invested.
That being said, while this is probably my least favorite of the series, it wasn’t a bad book by any means, just didn’t hook me ...more

Best friends since they were five, Jonah and Felix have been each other’s constants through all the major ups and downs life has thrown their way. From Felix’s DUI and stint in rehab, now to Jonah’s grandmother’s health scare, Jonah and Felix have weathered it all.
In fact, despite everything that’s happened to him in the last year, the one permanently good thing in Felix’s life has been Jonah. & with Jonah’s grandmother harping on him to settle down, and Felix missing the intimacy that relationships bring, suggests they kill two birds with one stone & say they’re engaged.
Only Felix isn’t aware that Jonah has been in love with him since they were teenagers, and Jonah isn’t aware that Felix has started seeing him in a new light since he got home from rehab. The lines quickly blur between what’s real and what’s pretend, and these two oblivious besties fall head first into their happily ever after.
I’ve been waiting on Jonah and Felix’s story since book one, and it did not disappoint at all. These two have loved each other so deeply for so long and seeing their (mostly Felix’s) feelings shift to more was so sweet.
Felix though, man!! He has been through it, and I loved that his character journey was full of growth and healing. Jonah also had a lot of baggage and trauma to work through as well, and I loved his vulnerability with Felix knowing that there would never be judgment. They have always and will always be each other’s person, and I loved seeing them grow as a couple....more

Miles is an absolute goofball, and I adored his character so much. He's quirky and weird, but such a sweetheart and I instantly fell in love with him from his first chapter. He and Bilson kept me rolling with their interactions, and their dynamic just really worked for me.
Also really loved seeing some of my Frat Wars babies pop up! & cannot wait for more of this series!
