I went into writing this book in a mode I have never been in before. It was an emotional wrecking ball for me, yet at the same time I have never grown attached to characters the way I have to Nate, Kira, Finn, and Cass.
It's a departure from what I normally write, but the story had me sucked in that nothing else existed to me as I wrote it. Twisted Minds is a little dirty, a little sexy, and written with love.
Dear readers, I hope you get a chance to read this book, and I hope you feel all the feels I experienced while writing it.

UNFAMILIAR will be released in about a month. Erica Cope (Author of the Lark trilogy and PIECES OF ME) is co-writing the book with me.
Usually, I do a fact thing, right? So, let's do this.
1. Erica came up with the initial outline for the plot. She had already thought up names for the main characters, Chase Lancaster and Hailey Peters.
2. Since UNFAMILIAR is a book that revolves around music, Erica thought it would be a fun idea to have an actual song created for our book. She knew a guy in a band and asked him, and he said yes! Squee!
3. The guy in the band, whose name was coincidentally Chase Petersen, agreed to write a song for us. His pop punk band, Get Busy Living, starting working on a song titled 'Unfamiliar'. Erica and I did a lot of squealing.
4. We even did a custom photo shoot for the cover of the book where Chase from the band got to portray our "book Chase" and Erica's sister portrayed our Hailey. This was also my first trip to the US!
5. As Erica and I began to work on UNFAMILIAR, a real-life love story began to unfold. Maybe we'll write a book about it one day. ;)...more

It was the hardest book for me to write and I put it off for such a long time that I wasn't even sure if anyone would read it. But I had to write it for the fans who wanted a happily-ever-after for Hadie, and for myself, too.
There is so much of me in this book. I think writing it was therapy for me, and I am so glad I finally pulled through and got it done. With the last three years of my life falling apart around me, yet at the same time having to move on, this book healed me in a way I didn't think possible.
Readers, fans of the series, longtime supporters, thank you for sticking it out with me and letting me uncover this book at my own pace. Remember to feel pain, to hurt, to cry. Remember to fall in love, to breathe, to live again, to touch the sky.
To all the broken hearts out there, this one is for you.
As you guys already know, I don't rate my own books, but I like to fill up this space with things about the book. So, iRelease date is October 25!! :)
As you guys already know, I don't rate my own books, but I like to fill up this space with things about the book. So, in keeping with tradition, here are a few things I can share with you about Wrong Side of Town.
1. Vincent Madden is hot 2. Estella Markson is broken 3. Vincent has three brothers 4. Estella is an Anglophile 5. Estella tutors a boy named Dylan 6. There is a scene where Vincent and Estella make out and Vincent's hands are covered in grease 7. Vincent participates in amateur fights 8. Hadie and Eddie will have brief appearances in this book 9. There will be a future book about Estella's younger sister, Savannah. 10. Vincent Madden is hot (because I just can't say it enough times)
"You are not going to walk away from me. You are not going to leave me. I know I'm messed up. I know I will never be what you deserve but, damnit, I'm sure as hell going to try every single day. I'm going to try my hardest, Estella, because without you, there's nothing."

1. I began wRunaway Mortal is out! Here is another list thingy for you.
'10 things you probably didn't need to know, but now know about Runaway Mortal'
1. I began writing 'Runaway Mortal' in February 2011. That's nearly two years!
2. I started writing 'Runaway Mortal' because I wanted to write a Young Adult novel about paranormal things.
3. It took me months and months before I came up with the title because I suck at coming up with titles.
4. I have a huge crush on a character in the book named Loire. Yes, he is the arrogant, yet sexy, supernatural agent. Yes, I did have to Google his name to figure out if I was pronouncing it right.
5. Katerina is badass. I heart her.
6. This story almost didn't happen. The first time was because I couldn't get into it. The second was because another book came out which was kind of similar and I nearly had a heart attack.
7. Katerina has two best friends, Anna and Misha. Anna is an angel and Misha is a demon.
8. I researched a lot of random things for this book, like a particular kind of hair.
9. I listened to 'E.T.' by Katy Perry A LOT while writing the book.
10. The series was initially going to be a trilogy, but now it will have four books in it....more

I realise there's a few months wait until 'Falling for Hadie' releases, so I thought I'd give you some vague teasers regarding the book.
So, without further ado, I give you "10 Sort of Spoilers about Falling for Hadie"!
1. The main characters are named Hadie Swinton and Lincoln Bracks. I wonder if anyone can guess what Hadie's actual name is (Hadie is a nickname).
2. Hadie has a dog named Halo because I like dogs and the video game 'Halo'.
3. Hadie is a book nerd and likes to make references to her favourite books. Disclaimer: Any resemblances to any person living (ie. me) are purely coincidental :P
4. Lincoln claims he read 'Wuthering Heights' in a day. I'm still trying to figure out if this is possible.
5. For someone who was a jock, Lincoln is a sucky runner. Maybe that's why he doesn't do sports anymore?
6. Hadie has a bad break up. But we kinda already knew Bennett was a douche, right?
7. Hadie's parents are hilarious. Writing their scenes was so much fun!
8. On the other hand, Lincoln's family was upsetting for me to write.
9. Lincoln dented Hadie's locker. :O
10. Luca and Ashton make a brief appearance in 'Falling for Hadie'.

1) Thank everyone for supporting/buying/reviewing/spreading the word about 'Impossible'
2) Write a few fun facts about 'Impossible' because sometimes I have a bad memory and I will probably forget these myself in a few weeks. :P
Thank you everyone for the interest in my little book. I'm glad it made you laugh, cry, want to punch Ashton etc. I respect everyone's reviews, whether negative or positive, and I really appreciate anyone taking the time to review my book. That is so amazing of you, so thank you!
Fun Facts:
- The inspiration for 'Impossible' came from the 90's movie 'Drive Me Crazy' starring Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grenier. I've seen the movie heaps of times but on this occasion it inspired me to write my own version of it.
- The book was initially titled 'Impossible' but I changed the title to 'With Me'. When I sent a design request to my cover artist, it was back when the book was still called 'Impossible' so that's what the cover artist put on the cover. I loved it so much that I ended up changing it back to 'Impossible' two days before the release day!
- I changed the title to 'With Me' because of the song by Sum 41. The song 'With Me' was a HUGE influence for me while I was writing the book. It was all I listened to for two months!
- I wrote the first draft of the book in four weeks.
- While writing the book, I wanted to strangle Ashton several times for being so mean.
- If Ashton went to high school with me we would never be friends, but I think I'd have a crush on Luca.
- Hadie was initially going to have a bigger role in 'Impossible' but I loved her name so much that I thought someone with a name like that deserved their own story.
- By the time I'd finished writing 'Impossible', I'd already planned out the next four books in the series.
- My favourite character is Mr. Rochester, very closely followed by Luca....more
