I took every chance I got to read this book because the title and the blurb intrigued me. I liked to hunt new stories, new authors, and I'm glad this one by Abby McCarthy didn't disappoint me.

I lived this book. Undeniably! It made me shed happy tears, sad tears, made me savor every words, and be inspired! For certain, I felt an intense magic throughout the story.

I loved this book. All-out! I absolutely loved Lincoln and Lola. I so so much felt the intensity of their chemistry! I admired Lincoln for his never-ending love, for his sacrifices, for his softheartedness. He was such a unique hero. Rarely can be found. Lola too was as great as Lincoln. She was patient, unselfish, and loving. To my standpoint, they are a dream couple.
Lola and Lincoln met during a football game. Lola was 15, Lincoln was 18. They begun their friendship then that developed to love. When Lola was 16, Lincoln left for army. Lincoln, as years passed by, promised to give her a better future. But, one mistake, one decision, had set them apart and changed them forever.
"I love you more than words. I love you more than touches. I love you enough to say goodbye."
I was a bit conflicted in the half of the story because Lincoln didn't do anything to win Lola's heart again. But, I realized near-ending that the one who needs to make effort was Lola. Lincoln did what was right, unwillingly sacrificed the one whom he loved the most.
The Last Goodbye is a hands down second chance romance. Beautifully written, beautifully conveyed, beautifully portrayed, and beautifully ended. A high praise to Abby McCarthy for writing a book like this!
Overall, I absolutely enjoyed the story! Such a great book for Christmas! Taught us the only thing that could help us survive any challenges — by being with each other.

Asa vowed to never leave Barrette again. Even in her darkest times. Every step of the way, he supported, loved, and cherished her. He saved Barette. Not only did he saved her from what happened to her but he also helped her recover from depression and grief. He never surrendered.

This book is emotional and heartbreaking, but that was a given. In the first place, I read it because it's emotional. I just never expected a kind of love I found in this book, it was envying. I sometimes wondered if there's a love like that, it felt unreal. Some would view there love as common, overdramatic, or sentimental. That's not true! If only every couple in this world were like Asa and Barrette, I think there will never be infidelity or divorce at all.

I didn't like the remaining 5 chapters a bit because it went downhill too fast. Those chapters and the epilogue were a total HEA. Plus, I really wanted to witness how they handle the court trials, every scenes. But, it was brief and narrated. Still and all, I really have a good time!
Overall, I loved and enjoyed this book. Definitely heavy yet beautiful book of love and acceptance. A very inspirational story about the unfairness of justice system that failed women all over the world.

This book is okay. That's a guarantee. There were things I loved, but there were also parts I didn't like. Actually, I loved the premise. The way the author started the story was so intriguing. I instantly fell in love with it ... until the 2nd half of the book.
To say that 50% of the story was all about the hero and heroine having sex is an understatement. I'm not opposed to sex, I swear, I'm just not into it when the plot was all but sex.
Lex and Dom met in Paris, France. Lex was 22 years old and Dom was 43 years old when they first saw each other. Their instant attraction had led to one night of countless and unforgettable sex. After 1 year, they faced each other again, but in an unexpected circumstance. They did forbidden and violent things to be with each other. They made everything possible.
I never noted any elements of age gap trope throughout the story. It felt unreal that they never talked about their insecurities and concerns regarding their age gap which was 21 years. I read a lot of age gap romances and I think it's an important thing to include something like that. I don't know! It's just that I felt stuffs was missing in this book.
Moreover, I didn't like the hero. Something was off with him and I never did find the switch to turn him on. I agree, every sex scenes were amazing, him included. But, that's it. Outside of that aspect, I didn't connect with him. He's just inhuman, and what he did was jaw-dropping, in a bad way; I'm horrified and shocked. The things he'd done for the sake of Lex? I hated it. It was absolutely wrong and unbelievable. It implies that too much love for a person could cause horror.

I have so many issues with this book. And I really tried to love it but I couldn't. I was extremely bothered that almost every time I flipped a page, I'd read the words; fuck, cock, clit, cum, drenched, soaking wet. I endured those things because I really wanted to continue and hoped something good would happen. But, it only led to pregnant trope and HEA. The End!
Sad to say, I didn't like the book. Good thing is I at least enjoyed it. In fact, all I really wanted was to feel the feeling of fervency everytime I read a forbidden romance and I would be happy to give this book 5 stars. Nevertheless, this was such a great read for my first M. Johnson book!

I should have known from the start, when I saw the title that the plot was all about sex ... insert flashbacks.

This time, H made an agreement to have sex with no strings attached. But, h was hesitant until 2 months where she finally gave in to him. Then they fucked again, then I stopped ... I lost interest.
Honestly, I loved all Vi Keeland books (those that I've read). One of my favourite romance book, Cocky Bastard, was written by her. I loved her heroes who are cocky, confident and sexy. If I'm looking for something that could make me laugh, cry and swoon, her books are always my first choice.
Overall, Sex, Not Love for simple words was a great entertainment.

Luke was thorough in his work, never left any trace of evidence, took Makenna to his house and imprisoned her to his cellar.

I am so mad with the antagonist! She's a manipulator, psychotic, obsessive, and horny bitch. What happened to her in the story was not enough. She should suffer for the rest of her life. For the record, Audrey is officially my worst fictional enemy, so far.
Pretty When She Cries completely hooked me. I loved how the prologue instantly captured my interest that I never noticed I just finished the book. Every word, every page, every banter, and every damn fight was so interesting. This book simply made me missed my high school life.
The story focused on Landon and Kailani. They were both seniors in Black Mountain Academy, a prestigious learning institution. They've been friends in the past but became enemies because of secrets and misunderstanding. They're so stubborn that they sought revenge in each other not knowing that their real enemies were just lurking in the shadows.
He rocks his hips against my palm, but at the same time, I can see the warring doubts in his mind. The last time we did this, it didn’t end well. “Don’t.” I shake my head and kiss his jaw. “We can go back to hating each other tomorrow.”
A. Zavarelli conveyed every emotions in every words well. The story has a wonderful feeling of trust and being in love, knowing that the right person is not what you expected the most. Absolutely captivating young adult romance with the right amount of angst, hotness, and intensity.
Overall, if you wanted to read a special love story that will leave you feel all the high and low feelings, I wholeheartedly recommend this!

On the other hand, Remy, 16 years old, was a photographer, no permanent address, and lived an impoverished life. They became friends then. They met every morning in the beach to surf and to capture every beautiful moments they had together.

Funny how fate changed them. Shane, after 6 years, was freed. When Remy heard of Shane's release, she quitted modeling and went back to Costa del Rey, California, the setting, to help him and repair their relationship.

This book is heaven and hell. I didn't expect this to be so terrific. Thanks for Emery Rose, she is a great author. From now on, books by her would always be added to my tbr pile.
Overall, if you love to cry, read this. If you love to laugh, read this. If you love a hero and heroine who are capable of making you throw your e-reader, read this. And if you absolutely love a happy ending, you better read this!

✗ I expected an emotional story, based from the blurb. But it wasn't. I've never shed a single tear. Frustration and annoyance ruled me.
✗ The book was kinda similar to Thoughtless. You mean by S. C. Stephens? Exactly! This book was just surpassingly worst.
✗ Hero was moody almost entire book.
If I had known that this book has cheating, I would never read it. But because I already finished the book, let me tell you things I extremely detested.
I hated a hero who took someone's girlfriends, wives, or partners. In their defense, they were lovers, soulmates, whatever in the past. But it's not a reason to cheat, never! I loathed the heroine. She should have ended things first before fucking someone. And she just gave up her 4 year relationship to a hero who was annoying, secretive, and a dismissive jerk! That is absolutely not a good quality for a hero who swore he loves the heroine.

I remembered Thoughtless, I gave it 4 stars. It was a bit tolerable though because they asked forgiveness and they paid for it. Whilst, Creed punched Griff instead of redeeming his sins. They're fucking cheaters, show no mercy!

The story was about Evelyn and Dylan. They were this couple that were exquisitely good for each other. I have a too much love for them that every flipping page, I felt dread because of my anticipation that they would come to an end.
Evelyn was a 17 year old highschool student who was obsessed in planting. Waiting for a flower bud to open was her favourite thing. Dylan, a year older, was intellectually good and has a great sense of smelling. He learned this ability when he was young because his mom could hardly smell things. Insert Sam. A gay bestfriend of Evelyn who loved to sing. Sam has a huge part in the story that would bring tears to your eyes. One of the reason why I so much loved this book was because when the friendship of Evelyn and Sam was put to conflict, it completely ruined me.
Dylan and Evelyn were total opposite. The only thing that they have in common was that they were virgins. Dylan so much loathed St. Mary Villas, Dublin, the setting, that he planned to leave as soon as he graduates highschool. But, Evelyn hadn't thought of it at all. She needed to finish an another year in highschool and she couldn't leave her sick grandma.
The cliffhanger is heartbreaking and I'm so much grateful that this is a duet. Because I would be devastated if Dyl and Eve ended in a heartbreaking farewell.

I've NEVER expected less from Colleen Hoover since I read Ugly Love. She's this author that will totally sweep you away. And this story? This story is absolutely at it's best that I think I've also grown a heart bone!
Overall, Colleen Hoover not only wrote an amazing romance, but also acknowledged every challenge the world is facing today. I highly recommend this!

This is a highly anticipated book of mine. Friends-to-lovers is my top favourite trope and this was the first and prioritized book I've read in the series.
The Romantic Pact is such a heartfelt, full of adventure and emotional roller-coaster romance. I deeply loved the story, the message and the love shown was admiring. I adored a grandpa like Pops and how he helped Crew and Hazel navigate and discover where their hearts truly belongs. The concept of the story is so good and the plot is great. This book is perfect in every sense.
Hazel was a 22 year old farm girl. She was a neighbor of Pops, Crew's grandfather. Crew was the same age as Hazel and he was a football player at California. Playing football and be drafted was his greatest goal in life. Hazel and Crew's friendship started at their childhood days when Crew visited his grandfather in Munich, New York. Every summer, Hazel and Crew's friendship blossomed that they even thought of agreeing to a pact.
“Hazel Allen and Crew Smith agree to never get romantically involved ever and swear to be best friends forever.”
Hazel and Crew's life have changed when Pops passed away and they were sent to Germany together (planned by Pops) to reacquaint and repair their halted friendship.

I loved every words. I loved that the setting was in Germany. I loved that Hazel and Crew were oblivious to each other feelings. I loved how hot the sex scenes. I loved that there were lots of road trip. I loved the epilogue and I so much loved the letters by Pops. Overall, I loved that every part of this book perfectly and exceedingly suited my expectations.
This book deserves a chance. I absolutely recommend this to y'all! If you're looking for a great romance book to read this Christmas days, this was definitely written for you!

I loved this book. I so much swooned over January and Gus! Another romance novel marked straight to my favourite pile. Honestly, I didn't expect this book to be so intense. I was totally fooled by the title and cover.
I don't want to spoil the book, but I like to share tidbits of dialogue I really loved.

No offense, but this book is uneventful. Nothing interesting, only the fake dating cliché that I have read many times. The only thing that I loved about this book is the hero and heroine. I loved Zafir, an ex-rugby player, and the fact that he read romance novels and believes in Happy Ever Afters (there's a reason why he read romance novels). I also loved Danika, a PhD student, and her belittling of her self-worth (I know she is the main focus of the story). She presumes that she is bad in relationships because of his past boyfriend whom she loved that she found having sex with another woman.
Its a struggle to read this book because its third person. I rarely read third person novels because I found it hard to connect to the characters. But well, Miss Hibbert is exceptional in writing, its easy to love her characters. Overall, this book is okay and I enjoyed it. 3 Stars for the story, 1 Star for Zaf and Dani.
