I’m trying to do this too and this is my first book as well. I’m not a fan of classics but the audiobook is really helping but I don’t think I’ll finish before jan ends

Pride and Prejudice is a decent foundation read. Happy reading or listening via audible, which is slowing becoming a favorite resource of mine to listen.

Jane Austen inventing all em tropes: enemy to lover, reunite after years and had to split due to family (persuasion). Ug yes.
