2.5 A bit annoying...
I get why everyone liked it, it just wasn't the same for me.
The H was very annoying every time he talked, I doubt any real Irishman talks like that (and after living for several years in the US, no less). So most of the times I was just annoyed with him, couldn't really get over this thing.
The h was pretty unimpressive... I expected so much more from her!
True, I had pretty high expectations, after so many wonderful reviews, maybe that's why my rating is lowish.
It wasn't a bad read, it was just annoying. Might be worth reading if you like mobsters and stuff.

Completely agree. Supposedly this series gets better, but I haven't been brave enough to give it another go yet.

I understand what you mean! my expectations were trough the roof with this one and it affected my reading enjoyment.
