I would have loved if this focused more on the sister relationship. Margaret, while an interesting narrator, got to be a bit tiresome at times as she was veeeery whiny and jealous. I feel like I only got 1/3 of the story since it was only from her perspective. It would have been great to get Mary and Katherine’s perspectives, which based on the title I thought I would be getting. So not terrible, but a bit more dull than it should have been

I hadn't planned to read this because I haven't liked any other book of her's I've read. A friend insisted it was very good but I'm not sure why I finished it. I think I kept hoping it would get better. If readers are interested in this period they'd be much better off finding books by Margaret George or Alison Weir. Alison Weir writes non-fiction as well as historical fiction about this period. I've read both & enjoyed everything of Alison's I've read.

She had other books in the series that are from May and Catherine's point of view. Although you can read her books out of order, if you're like me and have already read the others you wouldn't have wanted to re-hear their stories. I highly recommend reading her other books :) I know you like historical fiction and the ones that focus more on the Tudors are much better

The Constant Princess is from Catherine's view point of that time in history.

I have to agree with you. I would have loved to see how Phillips would have managed writing this story by having each sister tell their perspectives in a section or chapter of their own throughout the book.
I completely agree, I was expecting to hear 3 voices narrated, and Margaret’s voice was tiresome, unexpectedly disappointed with this one
I'm listening on audio and my God is Margaret a pain! So boring too. If I was reading normally I'd have put the book down fifty times already.
I just listening to the audiobook but I doubt I’ll finish as Margaret is annoying and like some of the others who’ve posted comments I’d have preferred a book that is named three sisters, three queens would actually have the voices of all three.
I'm not very good at not finishing books. Sometimes it's because occasionally the effort pays off and I'd rather not be what iffing. But I also have an interest in history and was unfamiliar with this part of it so, I just wacked the speed up. Made it easier.
Oh my. I’ve been slogging along, hoping that the 2nd two books would be from a viewpoint other than Margaret’s.
Generally I enjoy Phillipa Gregory, but this one is rough.
