Marc *Dark Reader with a Thousand Young! Iä!* I’m very excited, going to see this performed on stage by Merry and Pippin in a few weeks.

Stewart Tame If you ever get a chance to see the movie version--directed by Stoppard--do. It's quite good.

Sean Carlin Agreed, Stewart! Oldman and Roth are terrific, and Stoppard incorporates a lot of visual humor that isn’t in the stage production.

'We've had one, what about second existential crisis?'

For real, that sounds like pitch-perfect casting.

That's the only (full) version I've seen, actually. The casting there was flawless - Richard Dreyfuss stole the show for me. I had no idea Stoppard directed it, though. That makes me rethink my opinion on the sight gags, like all the 'laws of science' discoveries. Suddenly they seem brilliant, not distracting. 🤔

Other than the film I've seen excerpts performed at a thousand High School Speech Tournaments by twice that many teenage stage divas.

I bet you hear this all the time, but I loved you in Batman!
