really liked it

I don't read very many short stories collection but after this one I feel like I now need to.

This one contains the most mind bending and original sci-fi stories I've read in a while.

My favorite what the last one!

Graham Wilhauk Short stories, when done right, are essentially mini novels, which is even more impressive than a novel! An author can be able to compact a story with a complete character arc or numerous arcs in the span of 15 to 40 pages. The best short stories are as good as any novel. Period. The problem is that a good majority of them are either not enough or just a crappy set up.

Aesha You should read Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut!

Gerchia You should try Ken Liu's Paper Menagerie short story collection. I think you'll really like it. It's full of Fantasy and Sci-fi novellas that could easily be written into full-length books aand the Sci-fi ones kept reminding me of Black Mirror! Lovely review!
