I can't find this ebook for my nook (B&N). Is it only available in Kindle format? It says "where ever eBooks are sold"... Kindle is not ebook format but proprietary. Cannot find at BN ;-(

I expect this e-story will be listed in the coming weeks. It's due out December 6th, so there's still a little time.
All best,

Thanks! I'm afraid it will be a bit of a wait for Promised. I still have some revising to do.

I can check with my editor about this next week, but I believe it is only going to be available on e-reader. I know some public libraries now loan out e-readers, so possibly you could borrow one.

My sister doesn't have an e-reader (and neither do I), but I believe she was able to get an application for both her computer and phone so that she could still read e-books. I'm sorry I don't know more, but apparently I am going to have to figure this out as well.... because I will definitely be reading this! : )

There is always some resourceful new way of figuring things out. Good luck with the technology. I wish I could help.

In the very strictest sense, I suppose "Tortured" spoils a particular aspect of Prized. However, I think the story is worth reading because the story's content adds more to Prized than it takes away, and the spoil is something a reader might logically guess even without reading the story. Does that make sense?
I wrote the story with the intention it would be read between the two novels. I think it fits as a reading experience there, but it would also add to the world if it were read after Prized. What would not work would be reading it before Birthmarked.

*jumps in* I just thought I'd say that all Kindle e-books can be read if you download the free Kindle app e.g. on your smartphone or computer, so you don't need to have an actual Kindle device to read it.

Ugh! I absolutely LOVE the 1st book, but I still haven't read the 2nd. Hope this one is as good as the first one!!!!!!!!;-)
Thank you for this 1.5. I'm dying to know more from Leon's perspective. It will also be a salve while I anxiously await the 3rd book!
Andrea ~ Thanks! This one, "Tortured," is a short story rather than a novel. I hope you enjoy it.
Sunny ~ It was interesting to me to write something from his perspective, and I think you'll like what it adds to the novels. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm!

I hope you enjoy it. "Tortured" is a short story, though, so I hope you won't be expecting a full-length novel. That would be some project to write!

I read it and it was perfect! For me, reading it AFTER 2 was better than if I had read it before. When does number 3 come out?
I would really like to know where I can find this book. I loved Birth Marked and have requested Prized. I cannot find this book anywhere.
