really liked it

Overall I thought this book was good. Having come from a family that did celebrate and encourage the gifts of myself and my sisters and that also wasn't evangelical, there were things in this book that (thankfully) didn't apply to me. There were also some things I didn't agree with since the book is aimed primarily at evangelicals (and boy oh boy did the references to Eric Metaxas and Ravi Zacharias not age well given the last few years). But overall I thought Beaty did a good job of describing the importance of work, in all its varieties, for both men and women, highlighting current problems in the church, and offering clear correction. The last chapter had some very practical advice that I appreciated.
