My mind is reeling!!! Penelope Douglas has blown me away. Wow. I just finished the epilogue and acknowledgments (yes I read those 😂) and I’m... speechless. PD has written a book that will blow your expectations of what kind of romances she can write out of the water. I truly believe she improves on her craft and writing with each book she puts out, because it shows. Credence is nothing like her previous romances - or romances in general - yet it’s EVERYTHING. (Don’t worry, there is an HEA and it’s so, so lovely. The ending almost made me tear up.) The story is emotional, heartbreaking, erotic (let me tell you.... you ain't seen NOTHING yet when it comes to filth from PD 🔥🔥🔥), and beautifully told - I loved the way it made me FEEL. I was addicted from the very first page and I never wanted to stop reading. I do have to warn people though - the content in this is not for everyone, and that’s okay. It gets a little dark, a little taboo, and a lot kinky. Credence FOR SURE will take you out of your comfort zone.
