A beautiful book with handwritten gems of wisdom about life, love, friendship along with lovely drawings. It was the perfect book to read right now. It takes about ten minutes, but it took me longer because I read it again as soon as I finished it. A real treasure to hold on to or pass on to someone you love, which is what I’m going to do. A perfect book for an uncertain time. It did my heart good . It reminded me in some ways of The Little Prince or The Velveteen Rabbit in the way it touched me.

Cheri, it’s worth it . Beautiful little story . As I said takes 10 minutes to read but it just warms your heart . I got my copy yesterday and read it twice last night .
Oh, wow! I have been seeing memes with this horse and boy as a theme, and wondered where they came from. I think you solved the mystery. I've loved them, and will definitely check this one out. The drawings and sayings are so sweet and gently affirming.
Carmel, it definitely is sweet and life affirming . Reminds me of stories like The Little Prince or The Velveteen Rabbit , although it’s much shorter. It’s been compared to Winnie the Pooh , but I’ve never read that so I can’t say . But I loved this one .

Angela, I had downloaded a sample of this after reading your review, but it's impossible to read on my kindle... I am going to have to start working more on how long I can hold an actual book, but I still can't use my thumb much to hold a book. So frustrating... but I've been reading a page or two at a time of a paperback book, off and on, so hopefully I'll be handle this one, soon. I have to check my local bookstore and see if they have a copy!

Cheri, this is definitely a book that you need to have the actually book to enjoy the beautiful drawings. It’s worth buying. I just gave my copy to my niece and her two boys who are readers like their mom . It’s not a big book and I think it’s fairly light weight, so hopefully you’ll be able to hold it at some point . I bought it from Amazon, but it was available in my local B&N. It’s just lovely.

I just finished this. It lifted my heart. My son gave me this for Christmas. His note entreated me to read it to my grandchildren, which I plan to do again, and again!
