I received an Arc of this book to read through NetGalley in exchange for a fair review. Catch Me If You Can by Donna Kaufman is the third story in the Men of Rogue Hollow Series. It is a reissue of a book originally published in 2004 but it does not feel dated and can be read as a standalone Tag Morgan an anthropologist has returned home to Rogues Hollow to settle his estranged father’s estate. While there he discovers that his father had purchased an ancestral castle in Scotland and was funding renovations on the castle. While looking over the documentation pertaining to the castle he discovers a series of letters between his father and the person he presumes to be it’s caretaker and finds himself fascinated by the letter writer.
Maura Sinclair. Maura Sinclair is having a very bad day first she catches her boyfriend in her bed with her best friend, then she’s turned down for the loan she needs to keep Castle Ballentrae going and now her truck is stuck in the snow with a blown tire. Trying to get cell service on the mountain road has proved impossible and when she returns to her truck she meets a stranger who’s car skidded into a snowbank trying to avoid her truck in its precarious position half on and half off the road. Tag Morgan is the stranger and the attraction between these two is hot enough to melt quite a bit of snow. They are rescued by a passing truck driver and stay overnight in a boarding house with only one bed. Super-Steamy this story is definitely one that will warm you up on a cold night.
