I love Thorpe's wicked sense of humor and the way she gets right to the essence of Mary and Fiona's friendship. And oh yes - there is a part where Mary stalks Fiona's husband's reviews on Goodreads - so funny. Free to Audible members via their new streaming feature. I'm ready for another novel by Rufi Thorpe.

I watched and listened to Rufi being interviewed on an author webinar this summer. I would never guess she could write sexy, thrillers or even humor. You never know. Never judge a book by its cover! I have to look into all her books. Thanks Lisa! 😊

Oh, I wasn't aware of this one. I'm not an audible member anymore. I'll have to get it other way :-(

The Knockout Queen sounds great, but as you said, not for times when I want a light read.

Lisa, my bad, I thought her book this year was kind of like a thriller; maybe suspense. And, Hi all, Libraries with Overdrive (App) have audiobooks for free! Just a wait time for popular books. 😊

Fun review, Lisa, and thanks for the audible info! I haven’t read her yet, but have The Girls from Corona Del Mar. I have yet to pick my next audible read, and have been wanting to read more great stories about female friendships.
