it was ok

Atwood should really stick to prose. She's no poet.

Tanya No loss that they denied my ARC request then. I have a few of her poem books on my shelf, but haven't read them yet...

Flybyreader I guess I enjoyed this bizarre collection but I'm not sure as I was too busy trying to figure out what the hell I was reading 😂 I don't think this should be categorized as poetry, though.

er Agreed. Thought this collection was bizarre. Some I’d call essays vs. poetry. A few good ones though - the last one Blackberries was my favorite.

Allan Stratton You're welcome to your opinion, but you *do* know she started her career as a major award-winning poet, right? She's been internationally known as a poet since the '60s.

Kitty Fogliano Perhaps you are still young. This collection resonated with me at a molecular level.

Darlene Karalash Pardon me for asking, Mr. Barrs, but have you read any of Atwood’s other 15 published volumes of poetry? Even Atwood’s grocery lists would hold appeal to me as reading material!
