There are SO MANY graphic novels about zombies on the market that it takes something really special, and/or unusual to make one stand out in a crowded field . . . and this one . . . just doesn't.
Two teenage girls are on the run from their pasts, AND the walking dead . . . and that's about it. Been there, done that with many, many better zom-books. I'm even torn about the artwork. The manga style used for the characters annoyed the hell out of me, though I liked how the pretty, perky colors contrasted beautifully with the dark subject matter.
Go for Ryan Parrott's Dead Day instead.
