Honestly I was very excited for this book, it sounded promising and the cover is absolutely gorgeous and when I started reading it and crying from the first pages I was still hopeful but damn it is so sad that I don't think I can continue reading it. Although I love books that wrench my heart but this one is just too unbelievably sad that it's too much and I am not sure I would ever go and finish reading it. Would love to read your review why you didn't like it though!

kind of the opposite - one reason i didn't like it was i never connected with it! emotionally or otherwise. it does seem sad for the purpose of being sad to me

I love your rants, and a 1-star (not even 1.5!) means a rant

@shannara (Idk how to @/ you ) but damn I am really excited to read the book hoping it would be something great cause of the hype and some of these reviews make me think otherwise
