I really enjoyed the first 70%! The main characters were really charming and lovable but the last 30% felt really messy and somewhat frustrating which I've come to realise seems sort of typical of LH's story structure. Overall, an enjoyable read.
Also, if you're looking for a series somewhat like this one, I highly recommend the Callahan-Warren series by Johanna Lindsey (first book: One Heart to Win) which I adored!

I've been wanting to read this book but I'm too attached to England HRs. Thanks for the Johanna Lindsey book recommendation! Mistaken/Hidden identity is one of my favorite tropes.

It’s always disappointing when the beginning is really good and the ending is not. I would much rather have it the other way around! Great review, Ren 🥰
It's so bittersweet when it happens that! I loved the first 60% of the book I was reading today but then it was too slow, so I understand the feeling😭😭😭
