honestly the plot twist somehow made this book better and worse? Like it was such a...idk unoriginal plot twist but also..brought some needed spice to an already boring book

@mareeva every plot twist felt unoriginal imo but yes i agree, without them it’d be even more boring

I thought the 'plottwist' was what made the book at least be worth talking about, and then in the bonus chapter she a) takes away the shred of fun I had when talking about the book to others and b) washes out the characters and made them even more uninteresting

@lyra exactly! the whole point of the letter vs manuscript debate was that there wasn’t a right answer. i dropped it to 1 star for that reason, it’s just not fun anymore. and god lowen has absolutely no personality it’s crazy

@katia same, it was a solid 2 stars, maybe 2.5, before, and then I read the bonus chapter and it dropped to a 1 😂

I don't think Jesus has anything to do with it. It's just poor writing for the sake of producing something quickly so that she can make $$$. I'm still dumbfounded by the amount of people who think this is a good story. It makes me wonder if they have ever read any quality books.
