A fantastic romance, one of the best I've read all year. I am so going to find more books by this author. The heroine Louise/Low Down has to be one of the most original and likable heroines ever written, and Max was such a great match for her.

Fiordiligi - I couldn't agree more!! I can't remember how I decided upon this book, but what ever it was I am grateful. It's been in my TBR a few months too. This is one of those stories that is going to stick with you long after you read it.

Fiordiligi- any you'd recommend? I just ordered "The Promise of Jenny Jones" and "The Wives of Bowie Street". Both looked good, but I really don't know MO's books yet. If she writes romances like SL (including fantastic and interesting heroines) I will likely glom everything by her over time.
