everyone who says ‘it’s so good’ is lying to you. the plot is a mess, the timeline is a mess.
i was confused throughout the whole book as if i missed a book in between this and kotc. The so called villain changed every chapter, emilia’s personality as well.
The sex scenes were cringe, i can’t believe her editor let her publish this. This book needed like another good year of editing before it was supposed to hit the shelves.

Definitely no lie here. Everybody can have their opinions but as a seasoned reader this is one of the best series out there and the third book is my favorite
I’m halfway through the book and came to look at the reviews. I’m so glad I did because I feel so validated. Like, how is so much happening and nothing happening all at the same time?!
