it was amazing
bookshelves: to-read
Read 2 times. Last read January 28, 2013.

It's kinda ridiculous how much I want to read this book.

I'm seriously considering abusing my small amount of power to see if I can wangle and ARC out of somebody....

Susan A new Neil Gaiman is book is cause for celebration!

[Name Redacted] Doooooooo iiiiiiittttt

message 3: by Tamahome (new) - added it

Tamahome Jonathan Strahan's got it.

Marjorie I would absolutely abuse any power I had, to get one, if I had any power. (Also, it's not abusing it if you just ask. You know, unless you have blackmail material, or are holding the publisher's firstborn as a hostage. That would be bad)

Susan If you are going to ask for 1 why not ask for a few extras - you know, for your good friends on Goodreads...

Seriously - we can't wait until June. How does one obtain blackmail material?

message 6: by Jen (new) - rated it 5 stars

Jen If I had any power I would definitely use it to get a copy of this book early!

Matija Same here. :)

Stacey DO IT.

Casey If you achieve successful wangle, may I borrow the ARC when you are through?

Eivind When the zombie apocalypse hits I would eat Neil Gaimans brain first. I bet it's delicious.

Darren Wangle?

How to obtain blackmail material? A camera hidden very well? Wahaaaa.
One picture get you rich! But I love being broke so I would be no help.

Sara Just after this on my feed is Wil Wheaton's review of it. Does he have more power than you? And I'm totally with all of the concept of wangling multiples to share.

message 14: by Lisa (new)

Lisa You are not alone, I cannot wait

message 15: by Sara (new) - rated it 5 stars

Sara ^ sooo lucky!!

Sharessa I know how you feel, just ordered my signed hard cover copy. Will probably also buy kindle and audio versions.

Jyanx My desire for this book is indescribable in words.

Abuse the power. I know I would.

Sparrowlicious I'm surprised they didn't send you the book for a blurb.

(Goodreads is being weird again: "bookshelves: to-read
Read in January, 2013" - You might think it would make a difference what shelf the book is on.)

Isobel Your power is noted. Since I work for Hachette, I figure I can help out here. So I have put your editor and Neil's publicist in touch with each other. Hope you enjoy it! Isobel

Isobel,

Today I clicked on this profile to say a few things about this book. (I got my ARC in the mail about a month ago.)

It's only now that I've seen your comment. It's only now that I know it was you who put the wheels in motion.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

If there's anything I can ever do for you in return, please just let me know.

Sincerely and with love,

pat

Tracy B If I lived in your town I would consider turning to the dark side and creeping into your building Spiderman style and fondling this book.

Richard May I just say that I am more than a tad jealous of you, Mr. Rothfuss.. quite a bit more, actually :)

Edward Hermanson I can't believe I have to finish three books before I get to this one.

Katherine The book is fantastic but stop rating books you haven't read yet; it distorts the stats for those who haven't decided yet.

Dennis It's kind ridiculous how much I want to read your next book, but it seems to be never coming and you're almost rude about the fact that fans have been waiting forever...
