Shit happened, mafiosos died, Dom and Luca were whisked away to Lake Como in order to fall in love---ergh, sorry *cough, cough* I meant "hide". For some reason I expected more steamy scenes in these two books and they left me...thirsty. And the ending was a bit abrupt. Dom and Luca return after everything is over and decide to be together, bam!, cue the epilogue 2 years later when Luca finishes Yale Med. Like, where are all the important steps and in-between scenes!? That's what makes a story, well, a STORY.
