I didn't entirely love Reamde so I held off reading this companion novel. Thankfully this one was a solid home run, returning to what I love about Neal Stephenson. This is a chunky science fiction novel filled with big ideas and smart commentary. I was a bit more invested in the first half than the second half, but I would recommend this to any fan of this author.
