But only 4 stars! it is a bit different and harder to compare to something like a Terhune book though...

To be fair, I rarely give 5 stars to anything
You have to have your own rating system. I can understand having more room to go from a very good book to a great book. I give out 5 stars a little easier, but put the dog books that are really great in a shelf for dogs-favorite-books.'
