it was amazing

It's so bad to codemn a book with one star, because of its cover.
Some people think that publishers will feel guilty and change it. Eventually maybe, but not due to the one-star ratings.
The real damage is on the author, as not everyone is going to read the reviews. Also, in many websites only the Goodreads rating is visible.
State your thesis, but do it in a way that matters.

Amy Lou Agreed!

Nicole Bingo! Paolini is a brilliant author. It’s a shame that this issue is claiming the spotlight.

Ryan I agree, I also think you would help the book more by reviewing it properly with your review bomb condemnation underneath it. Because you're in one of the top slots for reviews, and if you genuinely believe the book is 5 stars you will be the first real 5 star review people read.

Just my thoughts.

Noyart Did you think the book was 5 stars tho? Otherwise its just the same as review bombing.

Hazlewood Thomas Thank you for your review Manos, I’ve downloaded the audiobook and I can’t wait to get stuck into it.

message 7: by Andy (new) - rated it 1 star

Andy Klein I don’t understand why anyone would care about the cover. The book itself was absolutely awful. Hundreds of pages of whining about the death of a spouse with a ton more spent on a debate about the existence of God by two hateful characters, punctuated with an unexplained hole protected by rock creatures/constructs.
