really liked it

Highly recommend for anyone in a high demand situation like business, parenting, health, job transition, relationship transition, or simply wanting to improve your friendships, marriage, career or personal goals.

I think I will use the principles in this book for a long time in my work and relationships. To be clear, It's not a quick guide to end it all or how to break up. (Although it helps with those situations too) It's actually about taking inventory of what you have the power to continue doing or stop doing and where to apply that motivation to move in a new direction.

I suggest reading the last chapter 13 entitled "Sustainability: Taking Inventory of What Is Depleting Your Resources." If that resonates with you, then the book is a match for you. The audio version is read by the author and feels like he's talking to you.

My only disappointment is in the disproportionate number of stories of women who needed to end their relationships with unhealthy men. It just felt unbalanced as if to imply that women are the ones who mostly lack good judgment in their relationships and it bothered me throughout the book. I don't believe that's the intent of the author at all so If you can navigate that, there is so much to glean from this book.
