really liked it

Love doesn't just sit there, like a stone, it has to be made, like bread; remade all the time, made everyday.

The left hand of darkness was a bit of a slog for me, I think it was built up too much to ever meet my expectations. I knew nothing about this one going in and I really enjoyed it.
This guy, George Orr(wink) has dreams that can effect reality and change things for the whole world. His therapist wants to use that power to change the world for the better, but how can you know what’s better for the whole world at once and what right does anyone have to make that decision?

This had a timey wimey, Phillip k Dick feel to it without whatever it is that I find slightly off putting about his writing.
Leguin has some great prose in this one as well.

Debbie Y I’ve yet to read anything by her, so maybe it’s about time. This actually sounds promising. Fabulous review.

Nate Thanks, and even if you don’t like it it’s short. The next one of hers I want to get to is the word for world is forest. I’m picturing ewoks and I’m gonna be really disappointed if there’s none in it.

LoL. I guess no Ewoks in your future. Or mine, for that matter, since I just added it to my list.

Nate Yub nub!!!
