Yes, honestly, everyone wants to know more about longevity.

We want to live longer and live better.

Medicine 3.0 consists of 5 broad domains.

1. Exercise
2. Nutrition
3. Sleep
4. Emotional health
5. Exogenous Modules (Drugs, hormones, or supplements)

Our goal is to live longer without the disease.

I am interested to improve my VO2 Max too.

The author suggested training our "Core" to improve our stability especially for older people to avoid falling.

An ideal book to discover more new tactics and ideas to improve our quality of life.

Joe Krakovsky Falls are dangerous to us older folks because they can result in broken bones. In my younger years I could take a kick to the ribs in martial arts and just get the wind knocked out of me. Not any more!

I agree with you, Joe. Older folks or middle age people may need a longer time to recover. Therefore, we must maintain our muscle mass.

Autumn, sorry to hear that you suffered too much. Build up your muscle slowly.

Wish I could build muscle but it doesn't seem possible anymore.
Thanks!

Imme van Gorp Huh, this sounds super useful!

Terrie Robinson (short break) Wonderful review, Liong! I’m not sure I’m after longevity as much as living a healthy life for as long as I can. Oh, wait…maybe that’s the same thing😊

I agree with you that as long as we are healthy when we are living. 😁

~☆~Autumn I am also trying to improve my VO2 Max. Difficult with asthma and just off oxygen for awhile.

Autumn, you made the right decision to improve your VO2 Max. You can buy a smart watch to measure it after every outdoor exercise.

~☆~Autumn I doubt that I can afford a Smart watch but I did get a treadmill so I can exercise indoors. I can't be outside as I am too allergic to ragweed and it gives me asthma.

Do you use a smart watch? I have used an oximeter for years as I was on oxygen 24/7.

Yes, I am using smart watch to estimate VO2 Max. Well, try your best to exercise indoor if you cannot go outdoor.

Harlow Living a healthy lifestyle is more challenging than reading about it.

It was worth the listen for a few “More new tactics and ideas.”

I agree with you, Harlow.

~☆~Autumn Liong, I am just reading Rethinking Diabetes and I suspect you might find it more helpful.
