I always enjoy Oscar Wilde. His turns of phrase and incisive perceptions are often right on target and almost always amusing. Lady Windermere’s Fan is one of those London society plays in this case covering the subject of what today would be updated to be sex shaming of women. At the very least, it addresses the double standards that have been used against women. This play is 4.5 stars for me, rounded up to 5.

Margaret M - (too far behind to catch up although trying to spend more time on GR) An amazing author. I love his turns or phrase and quotes. The most quoted I believe. Glad you enjoyed Terry 💖

Terry Thank you Margaret. Here is one of my favorites quotes from the play: “I can resist everything except temptation.”
