I've been meaning to read something by this author for a while, and this short story seemed like a good place to start.
It has an interesting storyline and characters, Toadling being my favourite. It has both dark and sweet elements. The resolution felt a bit abrupt, but I enjoyed it overall.

I enjoyed this one but definitely agree it had a rushed ending! Solid, but it wasn't among my favorites of her books that I've read, for what it's worth!

I also have The Hollow Places on my Scribd list, so we'll see. 😉

Thank you, Sparkle! 💕 It's a quick read and I think it was an interesting take on the Sleeping Beauty, but there were some descriptions that I found a bit icky. I'm not good with anything icky. 😂 If you decide to give it a try, I hope you enjoy it! 🤞

But for the first read by this author, it was interesting. 🙂 Thank you, Elisa! 💕
