I wasn't sure if I would be able to appreciate it because I thought I wouldn't be able to feel their relationship and love. How wrong I was... Miller and Ryan, I love them! They are ultimate sunshine and grumpy at their best. Their relationship is so simple but, at the same time, so complex. They treat each other well and are better people together.
Yes, so sexy that it hurts... The reasons behind this arrangement are super sweet and, of course, mega hot, as Jesse knows how to do.
It's low-angst, quickly resolved after what would be a more dramatic ending. What brings some anguish are the doubts about how they could make a relationship that was born in this way work...
But there it is; it’s Jesse and “Five Stars." "I will buy again.”
In the prologue, I almost had a stroke when I thought there would be a child involved, but it turned out to be a cat 😅🐈⬛

“It’s Jesse. Five stars. Will buy again” That’s a great play on the book’s idea 👏
i’m hesitant on this after seeing what other friends thought but since i enjoyed my first read by this author, i’m gonna hold off on it for now and read her other books instead. glad you enjoyed it! 🖤

unbreak me! i gave it 3-stars but i really enjoyed it. i wanted to read something from her before this book because i heard about it on her ig and was curious, so to familiarize myself with her writing i read unbreak me.

She’s been going a different direction after that one, more banter, less angst. Fun, sexy and hot as hell. I like them and I have fun reading them, but miss the early writing, the depth and intensity. This one is nothing like that. If you like pinning, angst and suffering she has Unrequited/Required. Best pinning eive read. The amount of feeling and was able to fit in there is beyond me. The books are the same story ish , book 1 from one of the MC pov and book 2 from the other, but with changes in the story line. Check out some reviews and see what you think 🫶
i wanna read that duology! i meant to read jesse like two years ago but never got around to. i’ll end up reading her other books before this for sure just in case. thanks! 💗
