Bought this poetry collection in Dublin (duh) and I have been readin it throughout my stay in Ireland. Now that I’m back home I finally managed to finish it, and I am not quite sure what my final judgment is.

I have to admit some poems did not find in me a grateful reader (mostly because I wasn’t always sure what was going on). However, the poems that made sense to me (in other words, the ones I spent more time with) were magnificent. After some time reading I realised I was going over some of the poems too quickly, so I started reading every poem twice: once to get a feeling for the sounds and rhymes and a second time to understand what was being said. So I’ve essentially read this entire collection twice.

My final judgment is definitely positive though, with some absolute masterpieces of poems. A solid four stars
