╰┈➤ for an independently published novel this is amazing! i think this author writes so poetically. some of these lines are beautiful I literally don’t know how she came up with them 😭✋🏼 it’s the most romantic thing I’ve ever heard in my life. the quotes I’m going to share with y’all will have you swooning 😫 if you don’t swoon.. is your heart made of ice??? i guess it does make sense bc our mmc writes a whole entire poetry collection 🤭 (also she designed the cover herself! what a talented queen 🤭)

╰┈➤ ah daisy. we have a love hate relationship. i love her for her character development. she’s a hopeless romantic who is insecure. i think we can relate to her in that way bc we’re all a little insecure at the end of the day. Levi really helped her overcome that. GUYS SHE ALSO LOVES AUDREY HEPBURN SO SHE GETS POINTS FOR THAT ✋🏼 on the other hand she’s so pick me 😭 yes she can be insufferable sometimes but i also look at her positive side. these are supposed to feel like real characters and real people have flaws so nobody can be absolutely perfect. (except for Levi) my point is that a lot of us don’t really end up liking fmc’s and that’s okay, try to give her a chance though 😭

╰┈➤ MY MANNN i literally love him so incredibly much 🥹 like absolute husband material. he’s a walking green flag istg 😫 everything this man does is perfect. he drives around with books in the back of his car ✋🏼 he reads Jane Austen and teaches a Jane Austen class 🙌🏽 a professor 😫✋🏼 lord have mercy he’s so fine. HE WRITES A WHOLE FREAKING POETRY COLLECTION 😭✋🏼 bakes her a strawberry shortcake bc he knows it’s her favorite✋🏼 mans is insecure about his looks, uhhh hello ur insane. he’ll always ask “do I look okay?” SIR. YOU LOOK HOT OKAY. HOT. HE ALSO SPEAKS FLUENT FRENCH ✋🏼anyways he’s a perfect angel and I love him sm 🤭

╰┈➤ the setting! i love books that take place in New York 🤭 it was so fun reading about it. Levi’s sisters, i love them 🥹 they are literally so adorable 😭 he has such a way with kids omg ✋🏼 i think you can tell a lot about a man by the way he treats his mom and sisters (if he has any) but he would get upset when he couldn’t help his mom out with his sisters 🥹 like he loves them so much and would do absolutely anything for them 😭

I definitely think you should read this 🤭 if you love childhood best friends to lovers and second chance then you would love this! those tropes will get me every single time 😫 i swear this book changed the way I read romance books and it also changed my life 🧍‍♀️
