The story wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t super captivating either. It had a lot of slow moments and a lot of mental healing type content where the FMC is just self doubting and then being reassured. The storyline is interesting, but there’s also a lot of filler moments. I found some stretches to be boring and I kept putting the book down to read other books every few chapters. I ended up kinda speed skimming the last quarter because I wanted to know the ending but I totally lost interest in all the relationship details and sex. If you like drawn out stories with lots of pastoral scenes then I’m sure you’d like this one.
