This may be one of those books that went over my head. I didn’t get the jist of the story. This definitely felt foreboding + creepy.. and is much different from what I usually read. I’m thinking doppelgängers were involved and then you have the altering of things inside the house. The “documents” laid out by conspiracy theorists do give questioning as to what’s happening with Eve - - OR is Eve mentally unstable, I honestly have no idea. By the end I was doubly confused. Am hoping to get a better understanding when the Netflix adaptation airs. Pub. 6/18/24
