really liked it

Total rating: 4.5 stars. Okay I really actually love Alicia Thompson’s writing and will be reading more of her books. I really loved this. Not only do I love baseball so a baseball romance was right up my alley, but Daphne was incredibly relatable to me. She is going through a divorce (this book discusses themes of divorce, loss, suicide, and panic attacks which I really loved) and every piece of commentary on your life changing in that way and reflecting on a past relationship was so spot on and I loved it.

But on to the romance, I LOVED Daphne and Chris. This was so cute and their relationship was so raw and real. Plus, there was a lot of baseball and I actually loved that and now I need to read more baseball romances for sure.
