Endless (Clarity Coast Omegaverse #1)

I didn't care for the book, but I did love this little bit from it.
- pg. 78 (Isolde) "You guys are so good at this. " (Hawk) "Good at what?" (Isolde) " Pretending. Making me feel like someone worth... anything. I can see why you're the best. " I am a sucker for lack of self-worth.
I really don't care for omegaverse books that are based on scent matches and constantly describing how the characters smell. I get it a little bit, but at the same time, it can be overkill and just becomes repetitive. I pretty much lost interest around the halfway point.
I wasn't really able to distinguish one guy from the next, unfortunately. That's a lie they each had their own kink.
Rowan: craves complete control
Hawk: voyeur
Cade: (beta) practices shibari & is a dominant
Vaughn: primal play
Joel: the caretaker, giving comfort and cuddles
Chapters 31 & 32, the primal scene was just weird. It felt off and out of place. Like the author was trying to throw a bunch of different kinks together to individualize each of the guys. I don't know why, but the whole thing just pissed me off, and it was all due to Isolde. The whole bad-ass bitch attitude just rubbed me the wrong way and didn't fit her character from the fist thirty chapters.
Things I thought were overkill:
- the never-ending inner monologues about Beau
- a lot of things just seemed over dramatized, which was then eye worthy
- the lack of being able to orgasm
- the never-ending check-ins from the guys. "Is this ok?"
