I wasn’t too sure about this to start. I didn’t realize this was a horror novel until about halfway through. Im not mad about this though as it was actually a pleasant surprise. I really thought I had this pegged and thought this was going to go one way and was genuinely surprised with the last quarter of the book and the finale.

I really liked the tone of this book. Very ominous, something definitely wrong but not quite sure what, and it continued wonderfully throughout.

I keep thinking about the ending and it’s something I can see sticking with me for a while. A definite page turner. Very memorable. 4 stars!!
