I could read about them forever <3 I won’t lie, there wasn’t much special about the plot of this book. but bc it’s them, I ate it up and had the best time ever. paekai have me in a chokehold 🥹

I read this with one of my close friends and I had the best time!! we called, stayed up late just binging it. and we predicted the ending (well she did 😭) but our jaws were still on the floor when it happened omg. and the fact that we have to wait until april 2025?!!? lauren you are evil but ily.

I can’t describe the plot without spoiling powerless, but it’s basically just the chaotic aftermath of everything from book 1. and this book was needed obviously but it’s kinda like a filler to prepare us for what will happen in book 3. bc other than the ending, nothing crazy really happened. I still loved it and paekai’s tension and banter was 10/10 as always 🤭🤭

🖤 kai azer - kai, kai, kai, the man that you are. genuinely one of the best fictional men out there ughhhh. I love him. I LOVE HIM SM <3 he’s literally so poetic with the way he describes his love for her, and the fact that he still cares after everything that happened between them 😩 so sweet !!

🏹paedyn gray - ngl i get mixed feelings about her. not gonna spoil, but ppl that have read this might understand what i mean (or not, bc it sounds like gibberish). how can she get mad at him for what he did when she literally did the same thing? and like he didn’t even know, but she did 😭 i sound weird, but it just kinda gets me mad it’s a little hypocritical. but she’s a baddie and she’s strong and i love her for that 🤭 bc I’d probably break. after going through THAT much.

💀kitt azer - why did bro get his own pov? in a way, I guess it was necessary but that still doesn’t mean I want it. fr pissed me off. unpopular opinion but I actually like him (when he’s not getting in the way of paekai) like he’s not a villain, he’s misunderstood. but the pov was too much HAHAHA

read this series if you haven’t already!! trust me, it is so, so amazing <33 this book was like 99% romance and 1% fantasy so perhaps if that’s not your thing, don’t read this but I still ate it up bc im a romance girly through and through. april needs to come asap bc I finished this today and im already losing patience HAHAHA.
