Well, except for the stumbled upon and polarizing vote prompts, I will be picking from the above books for next year’s ATY challenge. I read in order this year, and think I will probably do so again next year.

You have some great options on your list ! I absolutely loved Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood (if you like audiobook, definitely go with this version it’s narrated by the author, just amazing), Kindred, Everyone's a Aliebn When Ur a Aliebn Too, Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore, The Martian, Ready Player One, The Shadow of the Wind and many others!
