We'll see if I can fit any books into this one or not. I have myself into quite a few challenges right now (not just in this group) so not sure how it'll go. And, if I don't get any.....oh well. But I'll try and shoot for moderate. I may delay the start for this one until Jan. 1 though.
What an interesting challenge! Joining.

Great, niquae! Welcome to the challenge.
I would say one year from the start date of your first finished book.
I would say one year from the start date of your first finished book.
I got Broken/Fix from the Opposite Word link you provided. They also gave Vampire/Angel or God. I may use that one too! I have LOADS of Vampire and Angel books.....
Question: Can we use the same antonym for more than 1 pair of books? And - can the antonym be in the name of the series, or should it be in the title itself?
I wasn't sure about Lust/Love, but since you didn't shoot me down I'm keeping it! LOLOL

Cindy,
Using the same antonym for more than 1 pair? Sure, why not. ☺
Oh, I think Lust/Love can be opposites, LOL! At least, that has been my experience. **coughcough**

"Since series names are considered part of the title, you may go by words within them."Added the above late yesterday. Thought it might help me out.

I kind of wanted to do this challenge but I have feeling that if I do it now I'll be overexstending myself.

Rules: In this challenge you need to match a book to a book using antonyms in the title. For example the first book you read could have the word “hot” in the title. The matching book then needs to have a word like “cold” in the title. Other opposite words to hot are "cool, freezing, frigid" or even “dispassionate” or “mild.”
You can also use a derivative of the word, such as “freeze” or “frozen.” Or say you chose “angel.” Opposite words in another title could be “devil” or “devilishly.” To assist you, here is a link to a web site entitled Opposite Word.
Since series names are considered part of the title, you may go by words within them.
Bonus: Read an additional book with both your chosen words in the title. For example, if you chose “hot” and “cold,” you could choose Cold Tea On A Hot Day.
Example:
• hot/cold
Hot: Devilishly Hot, by Kathy Love
Cold: Love in a Cold Climate, by Nancy Mitford
Bonus: Cold Tea On A Hot Day, by Curtiss Ann Matlock
Devilishly HotLove in a Cold Climate (Penguin Modern Classics)Cold Tea On A Hot Day
Anthologies, audiobooks, and re-reads are fine.
Duration: The duration of this challenge will be one year from your start date. So whenever you decide to start, you will have one year to complete it. Please post your dates with your list. Post as you go or edit your initial post (just let us know when you’re done).
Would it be alright if I wanted to start it in the new year?

Sure, Gabrielle! Several people are starting in January. Welcome to the challenge.

You can also use a derivative of the word, such as “freeze” or “frozen.” Or say you chose “angel.” Opposite words in another title could be “devil” or “devilishly.” To assist you, here is a link to a web site entitled Opposite Word .
Since series names are considered part of the title, you may go by words within them.
Bonus: Read an additional book with both your chosen words in the title. For example, if you chose “hot” and “cold,” you could choose Cold Tea On A Hot Day. If you do the bonus for none, one or all - that's okay.
Example: Anthologies, audiobooks, and re-reads are fine.
Duration: The duration of this challenge will be one year from your start date. So whenever you decide to start, you will have one year to complete it. Please post your dates with your list. Post as you go or edit your initial post (just let us know when you’re done).
Levels: Can’t wait to see what you come up with. Have fun!
