Dr. Stallworth was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama during the 1940s, 50s, and early 60s. Crossed the Alabama state line for the first time at 16 to attend college. Graduated and became the first college graduate in his family. Followed by a medical degree at 24 and later an MBA.

Outside of medicine, he had several businesses, including Oh Yes! Management and Hollywood Fries Restaurant.

As personal manager, he discovered and secured a record deal for Taste of Honey, the first Black artist in the 22-year history of the Grammys to win the award for “Best New Artist,” for their mega-hit song “Boogie Oogie Oogie” in 1979.

Last year I hoped my memoir would win, or at least be in the semifinals. it wasn't.

This year, I attended because of all the GREAT people I got to meet and greet last year.

This was the first year of an "audiobook" category. And Sly Stone's memoir won. Round the first time I had a MJ was around the first time I heard "Everyday People" and "Hot Fun in the Summertime."

So I bought the audiobook. Got halfway to Chapter 3 during a massage. (No time to read because I'm writing whenever I am still.

I enjoyed it.

Anywho, it turned out to be GREAT so far. Did I mentioned I attended two Sly concerts the 60s and 70s and one in the 90s at the Roxy and he never showed up‼️(less)

Otto E. answered Goodreads's question: Where did you get the idea for your most recent book? I spent the last 25 years of my anesthesiology practice in plastic surgery centers in Beverly Hills, California. My next book "Murder at BeautyWorld" was conceived during that time. BeautyWorld is a plastic surgery center.
