Joshua Marcus is a South African author who writes literary and crime fiction. His background growing up gay in an Orthodox Jewish community - along with four years of solid grounding in psychological theory - informs his characters in their development and choices. Currently living with his husband in Johannesburg after two years travelling Southeast Asia, he is still proudly South African.
