“Read books of every genre. If you want to learn to live a better life, read self-help books. If you want to learn how to think better, read great philosophers. If you want to become mentally strong, read spiritual books. If you want to spice up your life, read fantasy. If you want to understand humans, read fiction. Books have it all.”

I find myself glued to audiobooks while at work. They are such a pleasure. Especially, while reading mystery.

Sounds fantastic, Asha ;) I also tend to employ my time writing. Other than that, my hobbies include horse riding, playing with (Harassing. What a good word) my pet cockatiel, and spending hours on the internet, drinking hot chocolate and obsessing over Tolkien :)
What do you like to write?

Difficult that is, since I stick to reading in whatever little time I get. But writing, running, teaching and harassing my two-year old retriever are timely activities I engage in. :) How about you, Jo?

Thank you Sheila for waiting and reading a while my most immature piece of writing. I appreciate your kind words.
I hope to see you often.
As for a book to recommend to you, I recently added finished The Graveyard Book and The Color Purple to my list of favorites. I loved them both. Fairly quick reads. You might want to read them. :)
